I am available for private in-home consultations. A CLC Visit includes a visit with myself for at least 90 minutes to offer education and guidance, and create a care plan if breastfeeding isn’t going the way you envisioned. If for some reason there is an issue that requires more advanced assistance, a referral to a local IBCLC or Tongue/Lip Tie Specialist will be arranged.
Some common reasons for a lactation visit:
Baby not latching well
Sleepy baby at breast
Increase a low milk supply
Managing engorgement, plugged ducts and mastitis

I am also available as part of my Breastfeeding Bootcamp package, where I will spend an 8 hour day with you, supporting you at each breastfeeding session plus provide all the helpful duties of a Postpartum Doula.
Top 5 Reasons to Work With a Postpartum Doula
YOU deserve a break today or tonight! Sleep IS possible!
Because babies SHOULD come with an instructional manual- why spend your time Googling whether something is normal when you can have support right in your own home?
Every team needs a coach! You now have a new team at home- let a coach help out!
It takes a village! You have heard the old saying- Raising a child...
Extra set of hands for mom and the whole family. Extra love for baby- even while everyone else is getting a break.
Breastfeeding Bootcamp Fee is $225 (over $50 savings!).
The price of a lactation consultation is 4-6% of the cost of formula alone during the first year (estimated at $2000). Of course, the costs of not breastfeeding are spread out over the course of the first year whereas a lactation consultation is paid in one lump sum, which can be difficult for new parents if they find insurance will not reimburse. So here are a few ideas that may help:
Lactation consultations and breast pump purchase or rental are now tax deductible as medical expenses. As such, they can be purchased through your Health Reimbursement Arrangements, (HRA), Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
Get your employer to pay. Some companies participate in Workplace Lactation Programs in which the employer pays for lactation education and support, including lactation consultations and breast pump purchase or rental. Contact me for more information regarding starting a Workplace Lactation Program in your (or your partner's) place of employment.
Use a credit card to help defer or spread out payment.
If you qualify for WIC services, request an IBCLC. Although most breastfeeding helpers at WIC are Breastfeeding Peer Counselors, some local WIC offices do employ an IBCLC. (If you have difficulty finding an IBCLC through WIC, contact Village Mama Breastfeeding Support for more information.)
